When I moved to Big Canoe there were so many things that I had to figure out. I was so excited to be living in such a beautiful and pristine environment, but I had to get my home sorted out before I could hit the great outdoors. I needed to learn about big canoe satellite internet, phone, and cable service so that I could get our utilities connected and not have to worry about it anymore. Then I had to enroll all my kids in school and make sure they were all settled in. Then, I was on to meet neighbors and find out where the good restaurants and activities are. Moving to a community with such great people is so refreshing. Everyone is nothing but sweet and helpful and my family and I are enjoying it so much. We thought our adjustment period would be much longer than it has been, and are grateful that we love our new surroundings. The kids already have some new friends and seem to be having fun. I hope our newfound happiness is real and not just a honeymoon period!
