I'm hosting my sister's bridal shower in a few weeks and she wants a really traditional deal for this. (We'll be having a slightly less traditional bachelorette party anyway.) That means that I'm in charge of a classic southern bridal shower and I need to prepare all of the traditional southern foods for that. But I don't have a whole lot of experience with fixing food like that so I've been doing a whole lot of research to find the perfect stuff for it.

When I was online looking for a good southern egg salad recipe a few days ago, I ran across the site www.wildbluedeals.com/wild-blue-packages.html and after I looked through it a little bit, I decided to sign up for one of the packages I found on there.

I did track down a good egg salad recipe. It's from Paula Deen and I don't think that you can get any more southern than that. I'm also going to serve sweet tea and Watergate salad, along with a few other southern staples that Grandma wouldn't let me live down if I didn't include them.
